A new study suggests that men who take Viagra and Viagra Connect may experience erectile dysfunction.

Viagra and Viagra Connect, marketed as the little blue pills, have been linked to an increased risk of heart disease.

The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, involved more than 600 men with erectile dysfunction and looked at how men got the drugs over a period of time.

Men in the study took the drugs for 12 months, before getting a prescription. The researchers looked at data from the United Kingdom's Health Research Authority database, which has a total of 1,300 men with erectile dysfunction.

In addition, they looked at data from the United States' National Library of Medicine's database, which tracks health conditions.

The researchers found that men who took Viagra were less likely to get any heart disease than men who took Viagra Connect.

"Our findings suggest that men who take Viagra may be more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction if they are taking Viagra Connect, and that they may be more likely to suffer from heart disease if they are taking Viagra Connect," said lead author Dr. Joshua M. Hofer. "Viagra Connect was the first drug approved in the United States, and it is a safe and effective treatment for erectile dysfunction."

Viagra Connect contains the same active ingredient as the other PDE5 inhibitors.

About 10% of American men take an impotence pill. Viagra Connect can help improve blood flow to the penis, which can be a key factor in maintaining erections.

The study, led by researchers at Stanford University, found that men who took Viagra and Viagra Connect for 12 months experienced an increased risk of developing heart disease.

They said that while the men who took Viagra and Viagra Connect had no increased risk of any side effects, the researchers also found that Viagra users who were taking the medications had a lower risk of developing erectile dysfunction.
